The Hunt kids and significant others/girlfriends.....
My boys for Christmas.....They are so cute. I can't wait for Noah to join them for this picture next year.

Tonight while Andrew is watching 24 in one room and I am in the other room watching The Bachelor I decided it was time to update our blog. By the way Jason is really cute. This weekend was really busy for us. My parents came down with Maggie Moo----the new puppy, and they painted the nursery....It took forever to decide what color to paint it..as if he will really care or even remember but I wanted it to be bright and colorful. We went with a pale yellow and it turned out amazing. My awesome parents also bout us a stroller, which I had no idea were so expensive and multiuseful. It is a stroller and an infant car seat. Gone are the days when you just buy a small 20 dollar stroller to put them in...this thing is huge and really comfortable looking. We also sold my Montero to car max which is the main reason my mom came down...because she was on the title and had to sign the paperwork. We bought a Sequoia and it is awesome. But when it rains it pours, now our washer has decided to not work, I still need to buy a cell phone, and buy the flooring for the nursery. I am learning that around every corner God remains faithful and is Good.
As the days get closer and we do more to prepare for Noah I am starting to bond with him. I sing to him often in the car and we have conversations about how much I love him and how as God is kniting him together even now that he has a purpose on this earth. I don't know how I will be as a mother or how I will respond to many sleepless nights but I do know that God promises to Hold on to us both as we learn and grow. My favorite song these days is Hold on to Jesus.....it makes me cry everytime I hear it.....probably my hormones.....but it is my prayer....that I can't protect Noah from the world, I have no say in what God is doing now in my womb and if he will be born healthy, but If I Hold to Jesus he will hold onto me.....and that is where I want to be.....

Christmas 2008 and 20 weeks

Well. After my wife asked me in her loving way, "Honey, why don't you ever post on our blog?" I've decided to make a short posting for the masses that follow us and our adventures :) Guilted into it? Maybe...

After a whirlwind Christmas in which we got to see both families, meet a new puppy named Maggie Moo, and my older brothers' new fiance from California, we are back in our routine. Today, we had our 20 week visit with our doctor. Everything looks great and we got some great new pics of little Noah Jackson squirming around in his cramped space. Its amazing to see his progress so quickly from looking like a peanut to somewhat human-like!! To finally see his feet, hands, and make out his face was awesome. I am continually amazed. It reminds me how specifically active and in control God is in uniquely creating him and how we as self-controlling humans are fully dependent on Him for a healthy child. What a blessing.

Speaking of blessings, we are active and busy preparing for Noah and his nursery, purchasing a new SUV, and signing up for our classes. Its always an adventure with the Hunts!

"Sons are a heritage from the LORD, childern a reward from Him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them." Ps. 127 3-5

Noah Jackson Hunt

Well we have decided to name our little guy Noah Jackson Hunt. We will have our 20 week ultrasound in 3 weeks which will tell us for sure that it is Noah....If not then we will have to return lots of clothes and come up with a name. I am turning 29 this next week and am not so excited about that.....but life will go on. So life for the hunts right now is busy....between researching what to buy for Noah and cleaning out the nursery for a complete remodel, buying christmas gifts, putting up decorations, getting ready for family, traveling and making decisions on when to quit my job....yes we are busy...but really excited about what God has in store for us.

It's a Boy

We found out at our last appointment that we are having a Boy. We were not excpecting to find out this early at 14 weeks but at our first screen appointment the sonographer asked if we wanted to know what we were having and Andrew and I looked at each other and said "well yes". and he got the view between the legs and said" either he has 3 legs or you are having a boy. We were both shocked to find out and then shocked that we just found out we were having a Boy. We are between names at this point because we were for sure we were going to have a girl and had a name all picked out. You can give me you input on what you like.....It's either Noah or Jackson. We are leaning more towards Noah because we love that name but I want to do animals in the nursery and that might seem a little weird if we name him Noah. I am due in May and have so much to do before then.

I'm Pregnant

So we have been waiting to make it public that we are pregnant. I am 13 weeks and it has been a hard last 6 weeks. I have been really sick and have had to miss some work, but I hear this next trimester should be better. I am crossing my fingers. We are going to find out what we are having next month so that should be exciting. It is so weird to know that you have something growing inside of you and that your body is no longer just your own. Everything I eat is not just for me but for the baby too. Not just eating but I am getting bigger, my face is breaking out like I am in high school and I have no cravings.....only aversions to everything.
Knowing that God is at work inside me is amazing. Please join us in praying that our baby is healthy and that our child will one day come to know the Lord. Pictures to follow.......

Silicon Labs Relay Marathon.....

Today was the Relay Marathon downtown. We had people from our small group at Hill Country Bible Church RR run. Andrew ran with the girls group and for only training for 1 week he did really well. It started at 8 and we were done at 1230...a long Hot morning but we all survived....some of us not as well as others but we made it.....At 8PM I am still recovering. I only did a 5K but it felt like a 10K. We are blessed to be in such a fun group of young married couples. They are amazing.

Andrew started a new job at Southwest water company and he is still learning the ropes. I think he will really enjoy it but there is a huge learning curve.

We are still praying about what next summer will bring but all together there will be some changes......stay tuned!!

New Bike

Ok so today I finally bought my bike. After going to a couple of stores I found one for a really great price. It was a little sad that I have to get the smallest one they make for an adult but at least I didn't have to get a youth bike ......like Andrew joked about all day. So I went for my first ride and I am so excited. I was able to ride a couple of miles and not fall once.
